Responsibilities:
Answer incoming and make outbound callsRequesting Referrals from PCP and/or Insurance CompaniesScanningVerify the referral status for each HMO patient Verify insurance eligibility and follow up as neededInput referral into ECW and link to appropriate upcoming appointments Address emailsInputting new insurance informationCommunicating with patients to obtain coverage information and resolving insurance issues with patientsOther duties as assigned.
Education and
Experience:
High School GraduateExperience with Medical Terminology, Medical Referrals and Eligibility, Computer SkillsPhysical Requirements:
Sitting for extended period of timePhone skillsGood communication skillsGood customer service skillsKey Skills:
