Recognized as having a busy emergency room, the Emergency Department Nurse Director will function in a 35-bed, state-of-the-art ED in a fast-paced, lively environment.

The Emergency Department Nurse Director will demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills in the development and implementation of quality improvement measures, compliance and department goals. As an integral leader, responsibilities will include staffing, strategic planning, nursing education support, budgets and program development. This hospital works diligently to ensure patients are seen in a timely manner and continuously works to improve ER wait time.

In collaboration with ER physicians, certified Emergency Room RNs, and psychiatric specialists, the Emergency Department Nurse Director will provide services to patients in the following areas: toxicology, pediatric emergencies, neurologic emergencies, stoke, psychiatric emergency services, emergency cardiology and trauma services.
